Mrs. Clements
Hello. This is my fifteenth year teaching in Cincinnati Public Schools and my fifth year teaching math and science at Silverton. I was born in Iowa and spent most of my childhood living in the Quad Cities. I have lived in Cincinnati for twenty five years and have three grown children and one grand-daughter.
A quick overview for the sixth grade math agenda this year includes ratio concepts, ratio reasoning, decimal and fractional multiplication and division, rational numbers, algebraic expressions, real-world and mathematical problems involving area, surface area, volume and statistical variability. Science concepts include modern cell theory, matter and motion and rocks, minerals and soil. |
Mrs. Lazar
My name is Brittiney Lazar and I have taught 6th grade in Cincinnati Public for 10 years! This is my fourth year at Silverton. I was born in Cheviot and moved to Silverton many years ago. I am married with two children. In language arts we will be focusing on 4 novels, 1 per quarter. Along with the novels we will be reading many short stories. We will write daily and practice vocabulary often. We cover 5,000 years of Ancient History in social studies. We will do a lot of hands on activities in social studies. I love technology and hope to incorporate the use of technology often in class.
